Success (Kind Of)

Last summer our computer was acting funny. Random crashes, hardware not being recognized, and generally running poorly. I was running Windows ME and finally decided that it was the Operating System that was giving me trouble. We decided to get a new computer with Windows XP and quit with the old one. I saved the old one not knowing what I was really going to do with it. Well I recently decided to try to install Linux on the old computer so I could figure out what Linux is all about. Success!! After a week of beating my head against the wall called Linux every night, I finally got it up and running.<br />n<!–more–><br />nOnce I finally got the GUI(Graphical User Interface) running it hasn't been too bad. I am using a distriubution that is specifically for Linux newbies called <a href="http://www.arklinux.org/">ArkLinux.</a> It looks and feels a lot like Windows so it is fairly straight forward.
