The whole countryside is beautiful now. Over night the big old cotton woods in our yard changed from green to gold. Took a long ride yesterday up over Shell pass and back over Powder River Pass. Saw the result of the fire, saw a helicopter moving logs. The Quakers are mostly done but the cotton woods are wonderful, saw some deer, lots of antelope and a jillion hunters.

It is a beautiful photo. I just painted my living room a beige, and we have warm wood laminate floors. How your photo would be the crowning touch of tawny elegance!

I love reading about life in Montana. Your pictures are the icing on the cake!
